Transports

Choose the Eco-friendly Option Whenever Possible

Travel by public transport, carpooling or by bike if you can.

For example, the journey from Paris Gare du Nord to the Villepinte Exhibition Centre emits 0.22 kg CO2e eq by train (RER or transilien in Ile-de-France region), compared to 5,38 kg CO2e eq for the same trip by petrol-powered car.

To find out the carbon impact of your journey, use ADEME's comparator. And for more information on ecological transition, feel free to visit their website.

More Sustainable Printing Practices

Your Pass

A paper pass is mandatory at Milipol Paris so our exhibitors can identify their various interlocutors. However, please reduce your printouts: one paper pass per person.

Avoid using plastic badge holders; cardboard badge holders will be provided upon your arrival at the exhibition. Milipol Paris stopped producing plastic badge holders in favour of cardboard ones. This approach promotes biodegradability and recyclability, reducing the carbon footprint as cardboard production from sustainable sources emits fewer greenhouse gases than petroleum-derived plastic.

Visitor Tools

In 2025, Milipol Paris made the decision to stop printing its visitor guides and to convert them into personalised PDFs that can be downloaded directly by attendees. This way, the exhibition reduces water and paper consumption associated with printing, while offering a tool better suited to visitors’ needs.

Consumption

Adopt Good Habits

  • Be careful about what you consume at the exhibition, so as to prevent waste.
Remember to use the sorting bins provided, which will help us recover and recycle waste.

  • Whenever possible, opt for a lunch that includes local, seasonal and/or organic ingredients.
For example, tomatoes grown in a greenhouse out of season generate 8 times more CO2 emissions than seasonal tomatoes grown in the ground.

WiFi!

Better than 4G & 5G

As soon as you arrive, log in using WiFi (which is free!) if the exhibition is equipped with.

Did you know: 1 GB transmitted via 4G has up to 20 times more impact than via WiFi*.

Energy

We’re Reducing our Energy Use!

We are committed to energy sobriety at our exhibitions: not too much heating or too much air conditioning.

Keep this in mind when preparing your visit and dress accordingly!

Until we see you in person, the entire event team thanks you for making an effort:

Every little gesture you make has a big impact on our event!

Thank you !
