Could you describe your company as well as the products/solutions that you will be presenting during Milipol Paris 2021?
WELP GROUP’s automotive foundation roots back to 1840 (Karosseriebau WENDLER©). Fast forward to 2021 WELP GROUP with its six subsidiaries is led by the two shareholders Nina Welp and Ronald Gerschewski. Under their forward-looking management WELP GROUP employs more than 700 staff and generating a turnover exceeding 90 million EUR.
From planning and organisation to implementation. Compelling solutions for the automotive and armouring sector form the core of WELP GROUP’s products and solutions. The main business is the protection of armored vehicles and cabins for different types of clients in the military, police, and special forces.
At Milipol 2021, WELP GROUP will showcase the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300, armored Peugeot Traveller and supplementary safety and security products and services offering added value for its clients world-wide.
In your opinion, what are the current trends that are providing opportunities for your company?
By many clients considered as a legend, the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 went out of service and has currently been replaced by the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 (internally called F3-LC). With many procurement projects and fleet upgrades in the planning process WELP GROUP feels perfectly suited to cater these demands with its fully tested and certified F3-LC version available early 2022.
In addition, WELP GROUP clients were intensively asking for world-wide on-site support and after sales services. WELP GROUP expanded these services and is looking very much forward discussing such with its clients and visitors.
Why did you choose to participate at Milipol Paris 2021? Will you be presenting innovative/new products or solutions during Milipol Paris 2021?
Milipol is a key exhibition for the WELP GROUP to present its state-of-the-art commercial armored vehicles and complementary security solutions. We highly value the concentration of decision makers visiting at every edition of Milipol and are also looking at other international Milipol exhibitions.
Milipol Paris has always been the major exhibition in Europe for the security industry. WELP GROUP, as the entire security industry, is relieved that such an important event will be taking place during the difficult times posed to the World by the Corona Pandemic.
WELP GROUP will be delighted to showcase the two latest additions to its portfolio of tested and certified commercial armored vehicles:
The F3-LC, Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and the Peugeot Traveller
Also, we will showcase a valuable tool for operational teams to rescue personnel from an armored vehicle after an accident happened.
How is Milipol Paris 2021 important for growing your business?
Milipol Paris has always been a valuable source of technical and client-inspired discussions. In 2021 we expect the same concentration of decision makers and end-users to attend Milipol and our WELP GROUP booth no. 5 K 052 in hall 5.
Where do you intend to grow your business in the future (countries or verticals)?
Clients from all segments, military, police, public and civilian users, are being protected every day world-wide in commercial armored vehicles engineered and manufactured WELP GROUP.
WELP GROUP has seen a lot of national and international recognition for its state-of-the-start commercial armored vehicles solution. With recent tender wins from NATO member states, we are looking very much forward to serve and protect even more users in critical theatres of operation world-wide.
